Job Summary:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in driving our sales growth by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments for our sales team. You will be responsible for researching potential clients, reaching out through various channels, and effectively communicating the value of our offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a desire to grow in a sales career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, networking events, social media, and referrals.
- Outreach: Conduct outbound calls, send emails, and utilize social media to engage with prospects and generate interest in our products/services.
- Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify potential leads based on specific criteria to ensure high-quality prospects for the sales team.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and communication with prospects in our Hubspot CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation efforts.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key metrics related to lead generation and appointment setting, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and our product offerings to effectively communicate value to prospects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospects.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
